Be Warned.............Rape Suspects Face Life Imprisonment in Nigeria

On March 5, the House of Representatives approved life imprisonment for rape suspects.
They also approved a minimum of 20 years without any option of fine for the gang rape convicts.
It was Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who sponsored the bill and approved 25 years of imprisonment for people who attempt to use chemicals and other harmful liquids on other people (Example: pouring acid on someone).
The bill has also approved 4 years of imprisonment or a fine of up to N200,000 (or both) for people who will be convicted for performing female circumcision and general mutilation.
People who will be proven responsible of aiding female circumcision will be charged N100,000 or 2 years of imprisonment (or both).
