World’s Smallest Phone Introduced in JapanNo, the pink thing that you are seeing in the photo above is not a toy. It is actually the smallest phone in the world.
It is called the “WX06A.” It is only available in Japan at the moment. The Japanese phone firm Willcom introduced this phone in the country.
It measures 32 x 70 x 10.7 mm – only a quarter of the iPhone’s weight. It weighs 32 grams.
It has a 1-inch color OLED display (usually found in watches) and a fold out antenna.
The photo above shows Eibitto President Tako Hiyama. Eibitto is the company that makes WX06A phones.
The WX06A phone does not have a camera because of its size and battery restrictions.
However, this tiny gadget can be used to send e-mails. It is also equipped with a mobile antenna to improve reception.
It will be sold in phone stores in Japan this December, but its cost is not yet unveiled.
Weight: 32 grams
Screen: 1 inch OLED screen
Battery: 2 hours talk time, 300 hours standby
It only works on the Japanese PHS phone system at the moment, so it will not work in other countries.
